Life Global Farm ('we', 'us', 'our') is a livestock breeder and international exporter of live animals, genetics, and farm supplies. We use your information to prepare and send quotes and proforma/commercial invoices, process and confirm orders, arrange livestock transport and freight, and produce the export documentation required by South African and destination-country authorities. We also use it to manage your account, respond to enquiries, comply with veterinary, customs, and legal obligations, and — where you have consented — to send you relevant updates about breeding stock and availability.
Because we export live animals internationally, we are legally required to share certain information with third parties so that consignments can lawfully cross borders. This may include state veterinary services, export and import authorities, customs and port officials, accredited veterinarians, freight forwarders, shipping/airline carriers, and insurers. We share only the information necessary for these purposes and require that such parties protect it appropriately.
We process personal information to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal and export obligations, for our legitimate business interests, and on the basis of your consent for marketing. We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfil these purposes and to satisfy livestock traceability, tax, and export record-keeping requirements imposed by law.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access, including SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit, restricted access controls, and secure storage. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to address any breach promptly.
Subject to verification of your identity, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, object to certain processing, and withdraw marketing consent at any time. Registered users can update much of their information through their account. We may retain information where required by law or for legitimate record-keeping.
