Alfalfa (Lucerne) hay is the gold standard of animal feeds — with crude protein content of 18–22%, it provides more digestible protein per kilogram than any other commonly available roughage. It is the preferred feed for high-producing dairy cows, breeding rams and bulls, pregnant and lactating females, and young growing stock.

Life Global Farm's alfalfa hay is harvested from irrigated fields in the Western Cape and Northern Cape using precision cut-and-cure techniques that preserve maximum leaf content (leaves contain 70% of alfalfa's nutritional value). Each bale is moisture-tested before baling to ensure optimal preservation.

Available in small square bales (25–30 kg), large square bales (400–500 kg), and round bales (350–400 kg). Minimum order: 1 tonne.
