The Tuli is a Sanga breed developed by the Tuli Research Station in Zimbabwe from indigenous Zimbabwean cattle. It represents one of Africa's most successful examples of selective improvement of indigenous genetics without introducing exotic blood.

Tuli cattle are renowned for their tick resistance (consistently outperforming Brahman in tick-count studies), excellent foraging ability, and heat tolerance. They produce lean, deeply flavoured beef with a distinct marbling pattern preferred in natural/organic beef markets.

Tuli bulls are increasingly used in crossbreeding programmes across Africa and Australia, where their tick resistance and heat tolerance complement British breed quality beef traits.
